It’s already in your building.
Rent the drill, ladder, or projector you need for a day or more from neighbors nearby, instead of buying one you’ll use twice. Got things gathering dust? Lend them and earn.

You don’t need to own it.
You need it nearby
Most of us own things we use once or twice a year, and live a few floors or blocks from someone who owns the rest.

Life is full of one-off jobs.
Your cupboard doesn’t have to be.

Fix & build
That shelf, those curtains, the flat-pack you’ve put off. Drills, ladders, stud finders and toolkits, a few floors away.

Host & celebrate
Movie night on the roof, birthdays, game day. Projectors, speakers, string lights and big pots for the people you love.

Get outside
Winter weekends in the desert and on the court. Tents, cool boxes, beach shades and rackets, without the storage.

Travel & dress up
Big trips and big nights. Suitcases, car seats, garment steamers and the outfit you’ll wear once.
your shelf, earning
What could your things earn?
Pick something you own and play with it. You set the price a day and how long it can go. Thrifté handles the deposit, the photos and the payment.

An example to play with, not a promise. Demand depends on your building and the season. Renters pay Thrifté’s service fee on top of your price.
Built around trust from the first version.
Lending to a neighbour should feel as easy as lending to a friend. This is what we’re designing into the pilot.
Verified phone numbers
Every account confirms a phone number before it can rent or lend.
Two-way reviews
Renters and lenders review each other. Reviews stay sealed until you’ve both left one.
Your address stays yours
Neighbours see your community and building, never your flat number.
Photos before and after
Condition photos at pickup and return, on both phones, so you’re looking at the same record.
Chat and pay in the app
Agree everything in Thrifté. Names and the pickup spot unlock once a booking is paid.
Deposit held, not taken
A refundable deposit is held on the renter’s card and released after the return.

Questions, answered
We’re starting with a pilot in one Dubai community, then growing from there. The waitlist helps us choose where to start, so tell us where you live.
No, joining the waitlist is free. When Thrifté launches, lenders set their own price a day and renters pay Thrifté’s service fee on top.
The people who list them. Thrifté connects neighbours, and every item stays with its owner. You only borrow it for the days you’ve booked.
Condition photos at pickup and return give both sides the same record, and a refundable deposit is held on the renter’s card until the item is back. If something’s wrong, you can raise it in the app.
No. Neighbours see your community and building, never your flat number. Names and the pickup spot only unlock once a booking is paid.
Yes. Pick one or both when you join the waitlist, and you’ll be able to do either from the same account.
You can still join the waitlist. We’re opening in one Dubai community first, and where people sign up from helps us decide where to go next.
